J. Gray, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, but with roots in St. Thomas and Spanish Town, established Grayt Art after graduating from St. Catherine High School. His passion for art led him to pursue a Bachelors in Fine Arts at the renowned Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts. Graytness started as an online store to create a well-known Jamaican brand fueled by the designs of Grayt Art. With an aim to serve and connect Jamaicans who moved abroad for better chances, and the children of Jamaican immigrants who didn't get to experience their culture fully. It also connects with Jamaicans in Jamaica who want to represent their patriarchy and success.
